Last Wednesday evening turned from normal to SPICY in 15 minutes! We had Jeffro, owner of Wings & Tingz who is based out of Chester Market along to spice up our normal Wednesday evening at 45 HQ. We had two tables of 8 chicken wing lovers with a mixed variety of ages and spice tolerances. There were three levels to this challenge for the participants to get through. In July the 45 team cooked for the local community social supermarket. A tonne of local kids turned up (with their parents) after an afternoon litter picking and Nathan one of the co-founders cooked for about 4 hours on a Big Red 45 Gallon Drum BBQ. The feeling was great and he got a bit choked when one of the kids asked if we could come back again because ‘it was the best food ever’. The feeling of community was awesome and we have agreed to make it a regular thing encouraging our next generation of BBQers!
